    I   means   Multiply Left Hand Side nos.  2 x 3 = 6

    X   means   Multiply 2 & 2 = 4 and 3 & 1 = 3, then add 4 + 3 = 7

    I   means   Multiply Right Hand Side nos. 2 x 1 =2
